WHAT'S ON THE LINE?
WHAT'S ON THE LINE?
Organized Retail Crime (ORC) is at an all-time high for The Home Depot, and for other retailers across the country. Did
you know that the cost of ORC has ballooned
to over $68 billion annually according to the Buy Safe America Coalition?
At The Home Depot, theft has quickly become one of the most significant impacts on our profit margin. Beyond the bottom line, ORC also puts the safety of our associates and customers at risk.
We’re exploring and implementing new policies and technologies to combat ORC, but this problem requires teamwork. Partnership with local law enforcement and the adoption of ORC-focused legislation at the state and federal levels are critical to victory.
